The MBAjobs.net web site is provided as a service for managers, MBAs, Business Schools and employers, by WebInfoCo
WebInfoCo was established in 1998 - initially to develop, launch and support The MBA Program Information Site. It was founded by two Business School people - one working mainly in the northern hemisphere - the other in the south. We now have the support of several colleagues - one of whom, now in the UK, is in effect our Webmaster. Our finance function is also based there, but we do not maintain permanent offices.
The MBA Program Information Site (www.MBAinfo.com), launched in June 1998, was built around a unique database of MBA programs - which was the result of a substantial study of the diversity of MBA provision world-wide. It is intended as the definitive source of information for those seeking details on MBAs in order to make comparisons and make choices. It is the world's most comprehensive source of such information- with more details on more programs from more Schools in more countries, than any other source. It provides many services for Business Schools - to enable them to promote their programs, deal with enquiries, provide on line applications etc
The Management Courses Information Site (www.Managementcourses.com) was launched in July 1999 to complement the MBA site. It deals with non MBA programs for senior and executive level managers. Again the intention is to provide data on courses world-wide to facilitate comparison and choice. Like the MBAinfo site - it enables Business Schools to automate many of their processes in order to provide a comprehensive, fast and economic service to those seeking information on or entry to their courses. It is - to the best of our knowledge - unique.
WebInfoCo launched its third site - MBAjobs (www.MBAjobs.net) - in February 2000. It provides a service for MBA program students and recent graduates, Business Schools, and the employers and recruiters of MBA graduates. It is the the only international, specialist site for MBAs seeking jobs (or short assignments) and for those seeking to employ MBA graduates.
WebInfoCo's founders have substantial knowledge and experience of Business Schools, and of MBA and other management programs, as well as other aspects of management education and development and scholarship. Both are currently involved in management education. Both have undertaken post graduate and other management courses, and we have many years of experience in developing, and running management education activities for both individuals and organisations.
WebInfoCo specialises in providing services for managers, MBAs, Business Schools and employers. We provide truly international and highly focused services. We aim to spend several years in establishing WebInfoCo as the recognised premier provider of such services worldwide. Presently ours is a non commercial activity - we simply seek to cover some of our costs. We do not take advertising onto the sites and do not make our databases or mailing lists available to others. We try therefore to keep our costs down. Partly for this reason, we do not have conventional offices and do not use traditional mail or 'phone. We communicate only by E mail or fax for speed, flexibility and cost reasons. We work from multiple locations, in different time zones, but can always be contacted.
